As an Engineering Intern you will have the opportunity to assist with the design, analysis, testing and certification of composite radomes and structures working on a number of aircraft programs at various stages in the design and certification process.-
You will collaborate with a cross-functional team including Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Procurement and HS&E to develop products from the design phase through to production. -
Responsibilities Include:-
Develop CAD models and drawings for part manufacturing-
Assist with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews and support first article manufacturing including the development of manufacturing work instructions-
Create test plans and support test events in support of aircraft certification activities -
Assist with material certification digitalization goals -
Qualifications:-
Enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a degree in Engineering (e.g., Aerospace, Mechanical, etc.).-
Experience with CAD and FEA software packages (CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, Abaqus etc.)-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.-
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.-
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.-
