Responsibilities:

  • Establish recommended sales and profit objectives
  • Stay abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers
  • Attend managers' meetings and training as requested
  • Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively
  • Know and understand the federal, state and local laws which govern retail auto sales
  • Interact with all other Departments to realize customer satisfaction goals
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, inspect and monitor the performance of all vehicle sales employees including customer care, marketing, business development, compliance, aged units, sales goals, underwriting, compliance, tax deals, GPS, outside finance deals, cash deals, lot maintenance, lot and vehicle cleanliness, office organization and cleanliness, ordering forms
  • Supervise the efforts of salespeople to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership
  • Monitor and analyze salespeople's performances. Help increase their incomes with EARLY MANAGEMENT INTERVENTION!
  • Assist salespeople in closing deals and helping clients
  • Communicate with salespeople to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed
  • Maintain a timely customer/client follow-up system via the CRM
  • Marketing including creative, budget, keeping messages consistent, fresh and relevant

Requirements

  • Previous Automotive Sales Manager Experience is REQUIRED (Independent or franchise) in a high-volume store
  • F&I experience a plus but not required
  • Integrity, a Positive Attitude and a Strong Work Ethic Required
  • Willing To Learn and be grown in the industry
  • Strong sales and closing skills required
