Job Description

WELCOME TO THE CONNECTIVE!

Are you looking for a rewarding, values-driven career in the wellness space? A collaborative workplace that also encourages professional autonomy and work/life balance? Are you interested becoming a part of growing company with a big heart? If so, please read on!

The Connective is a female-founded integrative mental health practice with locations in San Francisco and Benicia. We offer compassionate, comprehensive, and client-centered care for children, adults, couples, and families, with a deep commitment to whole-person wellness. We also believe that healing is rooted in connection, and we are committed to cultivating meaningful relationships with our clients, our colleagues, and within our community.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a therapist at The Connective, you will provide weekly outpatient therapy sessions to a dedicated caseload of self-pay clients. While our practice serves individuals across the lifespan, we are especially seeking a clinician who is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families. This role also offers the unique opportunity to participate in our school-based mindfulness program, teaching mindfulness practices and social-emotional learning concepts to elementary students in the Benicia School District.

The ideal Connective therapist is excited to join a group practice where collaboration and connection are at the heart of the work. They thrive in a team environment and value the opportunity to focus on what truly matters – providing exceptional care to their clients without the isolation or administrative burdens that come with running a solo practice.

Please note that The Connective is not a private practice incubator or a stepping stone for therapists aiming to eventually establish their own independent practice. We’re looking for practitioners who are dedicated to becoming an integral part of our wellness collective and growing with our team long-term.

HOURS + LOCATION

This is an in-person, part-time role requiring approximately 20 office hours per week. If interested, there may be opportunities to grow into a full-time position as business needs evolve.

While we do offer scheduling flexibility, all therapists must initially be available for the following shifts:

  • Evenings: 1–2 evenings per week, concluding at 8:00 PM
  • Weekends: One flexible 6-hour shift on either a Saturday or Sunday
  • Tuesday Afternoons: Tuesdays from 12:00–2:00 PM for all-staff meetings, team trainings, and consultation groups

These scheduling requirements allow us to effectively meet peak client demand and support the growth of your caseload.

Location: On-site at our Downtown Benicia office, conveniently located on vibrant and charming First Street. Occasional travel to nearby school sites may be required to support our community partnerships.
