Job Title: Civil Construction SuperintendentJob Description The Civil Construction Superintendent oversees and coordinates all civil construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and resources effectively. Responsibilities + Oversee and manage all civil construction activities on-site. + Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. + Coordinate with crews, subcontractors, and resources effectively. + Interpret and implement blueprints and technical documents. + Maintain compliance with safety regulations and standards. Essential Skills + Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil construction supervision. + Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. + Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in project management software and MS Office. Additional Skills & Qualifications + OSHA safety certification preferred. + Experience with project management, electrical, plumbing, and subcontractor management. + Familiarity with Autocad, earthworks, concrete, site construction, and grading. + Knowledge of commercial construction and electrical wiring. Work Environment The position offers a balanced work schedule with four 10-hour days, allowing you to be home every night. The role includes access to a company vehicle. Work takes place in both office and field environments, requiring adaptability to varying conditions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Memphis, AR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
