Position Description

The University of Mississippi, Department of Leadership and Counselor Education seeks applicants to fill a non-tenure track clinical faculty position at the assistant level in the Educational leadership program. The Educational Leadership program is includes Masters, Educational Specialist, Ph.D., and Ed.D programs. The program offers degrees at the main campus and regional campuses in North Mississippi. The program also has M.Ed., Ed.S., and Ed.D. programs online. This is a 9-month non-tenure track appointment teaching classes in our regional campuses and coordinating and supervising internship experiences for students in the Educational Leadership programs.

 

Course load is two courses in fall and spring semesters with Internship coordination responsibilities. Faculty will work out of the one of the regional campuses.

Minimum Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Educational Leadership
• Experience as a school-level administrator
• Qualified to teach, supervise, and advise educational leadership students
• Participation in professional organizations
• Ability to evaluate students interns for educational leadership
• Demonstration of professional teaching and service activities
