We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is providing general clinical and pharmacy services, including supervision of technical staff. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. **In this role you will:** + Interpret orders and transcribe or verify them accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy computer system. + Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals. + Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose. + Sustain the hospital formulary, minimizing nonformulary procurements, utilizing therapeutic interchanges and promotes rational drug therapy selection. + Provide accurate and timely medication information to healthcare staff and patients. + Assist with clinical services such as drug consults, nutrition support, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulant monitoring, pain management, IV to PO, renal dosing and other programs as defined by Pharmacy Leadership. + Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely. + Complete notification reports regarding medication errors and adverse drug reactions. + Effectively supervise pharmacy operation activities and provide support to the whole pharmacy team. **What qualifications you will need:** + B.S. or PharmD from and ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy required + Minimum of one year of hospital experience is preferred + Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate Florida State Board of Pharmacy Oviedo Medical Center is a 64-bed acute care hospital.
