Commercial Flooring Installer

Job Summary

Whether youre a seasoned professional or just starting out and motivated to build a career, this role offers hands-on opportunities to install various flooring materials in commercial settings. We are seeking both experienced and inexperienced candidates eager to learn the trade of commercial flooring installation. Full-time opportunities are available with competitive pay based on experience. We are willing to train dedicated individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare job sites by removing old flooring, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring proper subfloor conditions.
• Install a variety of commercial flooring types, including carpet, vinyl, rubber, and other specialty materials.
• Measure, cut, and install materials accurately to specifications.
• Use tools and equipment safely and effectively, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Perform quality checks and make adjustments as needed to meet client expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process.

Requirements

• A positive attitude with a goal of providing the best finished product possible for our customers.
• Construction experience is preferred, but not required we welcome motivated beginners willing to learn the trade.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Dependable vehicle for transportation to job sites.
• Willingness to travel to various project locations, including potential overnight stays.
• Strong interest in hands-on work and learning flooring installation techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 65 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., CFI or similar) are a plus.
