Commercial HVAC Estimator - New Construction

Location: Houston, TX

Compensation: $50,000 - $75,000/year + Mileage Reimbursement

Schedule: Full-Time Temp-to-Hire (6 months)

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Estimator with a strong background in new construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of five years of industry experience and a proven ability to accurately estimate mechanical scopes for commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare competitive and accurate estimates for commercial HVAC projects ranging from $100,000 to $3,000,000.
  
  
• Analyze plans, specifications, and other project documentation to develop full-scope estimates.
  
  
• Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to gather pricing and negotiate costs.
  
  
• Bid on a variety of projects including emergency rooms, hotels, churches, and other commercial buildings.
  
  
• Maintain organized records of estimates and support project transitions to execution teams.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC estimating, specifically in new construction (residential experience will not be considered).
  
  
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, building codes, and construction documents.
  
  
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  
  
• Project management experience is a plus, but not required.
  
  
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
