Team WPP for Audible

Team WPP is thrilled to partner with Audible in their mission of igniting the world’s imagination through premium audio storytelling. To make that possible, Team WPP have been appointed to bring the Audible mission to life through the most dynamic channel of all – social. We will be supporting their social media transformation across ten markets and over 30+ channels (incl. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok). Through social, Audible aims to create a larger and more inspired community of fans across the globe.

Role Description:

We are seeking a passionate, culturally-savvy Content Creator with deep experience and expertise in the Audiobook, Entertainment and BookTok community to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for concepting, producing, and editing engaging social content that resonates with Audible's target audience across all channels.

As our on-staff Content Creator, you will be a key member of our creative team. You will concept, create and produce content based on creative assignments for Audible's social feeds (US and global campaigns). And work closely with the creative team to not only execute your own content but any other content needed.

• Demonstrate a proven track record of building a strong personal presence and following within the BookTok community

• Collaborate closely with the broader creative team to ideate, produce, and iterate on content that drives audience engagement and brand awareness

• Stay up-to-date on emerging social media platforms, features, and best practices to ensure Audible's content is leading-edge

• Manage the end-to-end content creation process from brief to final delivery, with a focus on fast turnaround and nimble execution

• Share knowledge and train internal teams to build their social content capabilities

*This role is hybrid & based in NYC*

Skills and experience

• 2+ years of experience creating high-performing social content, with a focus on platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts

• Deep passion for and understanding of the BookTok community and audiobook entertainment landscape

• Excellent creative ideation and video production skills, including filming, editing, and post-production

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving project needs

• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills

• Proven track record of growing an engaged social media following

The pay range for this role is $70,000-$90,000 annually. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor. Salary is subject to change based on factors such as geographic location and cost of living in location of hire. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
