Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Automotive Controller to play a critical role in driving the financial success of our dealership operations. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance while working closely with dealership leadership to support strategic goals and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in compliance with internal policies and manufacturer requirements
• Financial Analysis & Planning: Collaborate with dealership management to enhance financial performance, profitability, and ROI
• Expense Management: Evaluate dealership expenses, recommend cost-saving strategies, and provide guidance on expense control
• Accounting Operations: Maintain accurate financial records of all transactions in alignment with GAAP
• Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and payments in accordance with applicable regulations
• Cash Management: Implement and maintain systems to manage cash flow and mitigate risk effectively

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
• Proven experience in automotive dealership accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (CDK preferred) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities
• Strong commitment to results and attention to detail
