Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and support enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence solutions.
- Lead and contribute to the implementation of scalable data warehouse and BI systems.
- Develop and maintain star schema data models, fact and dimension tables, and metadata documentation.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes using tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Data Factory.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for large datasets.
- Utilize data visualization and reporting tools, particularly Power BI Service.
- Integrate data from diverse sources (relational databases, flat files, APIs, cloud storage).
- Implement data governance, quality, and lineage principles.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for data integration workflows.
- Troubleshoot data anomalies, ETL failures, and performance bottlenecks.
- Document data models, workflows, and data contracts.
- Work within Agile/Scrum or DevOps environments.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence solutions.
- Strong proficiency with ETL/ELT tools (SSIS and Azure Data Factory).
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure Synapse Analytics or Microsoft Fabric).
- Proficiency in SQL development (complex queries, stored procedures, views, performance optimization).
- Experience building and maintaining star schema data models.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI Service).
- Strong understanding of data governance, quality, and lineage principles.
- Experience integrating data from diverse structured and semi-structured sources.
- Familiarity with source control and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or DevOps environments.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Microsoft certifications (Azure Data Engineer Associate or SQL Server certifications).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
