Job Title : Desktop Administrator
Location : Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and support Windows desktop and laptop systems, peripherals, and printers.
- Provide first and second-level technical support to end users via phone, in-person, or remote tools.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, software updates, and security patches.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and profiles in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Support deployment and imaging of new devices using tools such as SCCM, Intune, or MDT.
- Maintain asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation of hardware/software deployments.
- Collaborate with network and server teams to resolve issues related to connectivity and system access.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, backups, and disaster recovery protocols.
Qualifications: - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience as a Desktop Administrator, Desktop Support Technician, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
- Experience in desktop imaging tools (SCCM, Intune, MDT) and remote support tools.
- Experience with endpoint security, antivirus, and patch management.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MD-100, MD-101, or equivalent).
- Experience in enterprise, healthcare, or educational environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices or help desk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
