Overview of the Role:

This Director position offers the opportunity to oversee comprehensive facilities operations at a state-of-the-art 73-bed acute care hospital, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant environments that support life-saving medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of facilities operations and building maintenance
• Direct preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment reliability
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA, and regulatory standards
• Coordinate capital improvement projects and renovations
• Oversee and develop multidisciplinary teams of technicians and maintenance staff
• Serve as key liaison with hospital administration for operational support
• Maintain emergency preparedness and safety initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
• 5+ years progressive leadership experience in healthcare facilities management
• Strong knowledge of Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA regulations
• Proven experience managing capital projects and vendor relationships
• CHFM certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
