Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Logistician FMS Logistician, Senior Robins Air Force Base Warner Robins, GA HX5 is an award-winning provider of engineering, research and development, and technical services to clients such as NASA and the Department of Defense. HX5 is currently seeking a Foreign Military Sales Logistician to support the Mobility Aircraft Program Office at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, GA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - This position supports the Foreign Military Sales program and will primarily support the system technical manuals.
- Will also coordinate all logistics elements, including but not limited to spares, support equipment, training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for FMS programs are identified and tailored to the FMS customer’s needs.
- Will assist in performing analyses of sustainment or related Diminishing Sources (DMSMS) issues and recommend suitable replacements.
- Will provide assistance to accomplish the generation and review of logistics support documentation that includes the following: Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Life Cycle Support Plans (LCSP), Tech Orders (TO), technical manuals, electronic technical manuals, illustrated parts breakdowns, and work specifications to ensure the documentation meets Government logistics support requirements.
- Will participate in ILS management team meetings, program management reviews, and other related meetings.
- Will assist the Government in performing logistics support analysis tasks.
- Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the DoD acquisition process
Education and Experience: Must have the following education and experience:
- Master’s Degree and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD
- Or … Bachelors Degree and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD
- Or … twenty (20) years of directly related experience, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD.
Other Position Requirements: - Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
- Must be able to travel, including air travel
