Who we\'re looking for

• Cares deeply about producing high-quality work and is ready to dig into details but makes correct tradeoffs on pace vs. quality.
• Has spent at least a few years building software at some scale and/or with criticality.
• Ideally at a product-focused company and/or has experience with at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Is excited by the pace and rate of change that is inevitable in any successful, early stage startup.
• Gets energy from delivering value to customers and enjoys having fun along the way.

About the role

Reporting to the CTO and Co-Founder, you\'ll join a team of engineers dedicated to building a remarkable product. This includes:

• Working face to face with founders, the engineering team, and customers to solve real problems.
• Working across the stack, primarily in C# on .NET Core 8, and with Terraform; building out the frontend with HTMX.
• Adopting best practices from technical founders, including CD, infrastructure as code, and simple, scalable architecture.
• Being part of a small, high-expectation team with limited bureaucracy.
• Based in a Central London office and expected to work on-site five days a week.

FAQs

How is work organised at Tracebit?

We are a small, tight team with a daily standup. Each member delivers substantial work for customers, and we meet occasionally to discuss longer-term plans. There is a lot of collaboration, customer feedback, and analysis, with limited formal process.

Where is the office?

The office is near Warren Street tube station in London, with many places to eat nearby.

Are you doing hybrid/remote?

No, but there is day-to-day flexibility. We value an office-based culture and the speed of building a company at pace. Case-by-case exceptions may be considered.

What are the working hours like?

Typically 9am–6pm to maintain a strong cadence. Founding engineers may occasionally work outside these hours, with some flexibility.

Can you sponsor visas?

Yes. We can support various UK work visas, including: Skilled Worker Visa, Intra-Company Transfer Visa, and Graduate Visa Transition. We welcome candidates who require visa sponsorship and will assist during the application process.
