Junior Email Developer

Love is seeking a talented and driven Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work across multiple facets of development, including email, web, and maintenance tasks. You will aggregate data to create reports and develop metrics that track the success of client campaigns. You’ll use your technical skills and creative thinking to optimize program performance and contribute to our clients’ digital success.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute digital campaigns using various ESP’s (Email Service Providers).
• Assist with email and web development using tools such as HTML, CSS, and Photoshop.
• Help maintain and document client subscriber lists and databases alongside our development team, including database structure, list segmentation, list hygiene, and subscriber churn.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary agency teams to advise on digital creative assets.
• Stay current with industry trends in email marketing
• Manage, document and act as subject matter on client subscriber lists and databases, including database structure, list segmentation, list hygiene and subscriber churn
• Monitor activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend strategies to increase campaign and/or digital performance.
• Use web analytics and A/B testing to make data-driven decisions to optimize program performance.
• Improve conversions by making usability and marketing decisions to influence the success of campaigns.

Who You Are

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage campaigns and projects across multiple clients
• At least 6 months of experience in a digital marketing, web/email development or related role.
• Some experience using Photoshop and HTML in a marketing or communications role
• A fast learner interested in growing their knowledge in the field, not just in development, but also in presentation skills, business analytics and customer service
• a detail-oriented individual with a problem-solving mindset
• Proven experience with HTML & CSS.

Would Be a Plus

• Knowledge of HTML and CSS specifically pertaining to email development
• Experience with email testing software such as Litmus or Email on Acid.
• Prior Experience with ESP’s such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Hubspot, Oracle Eloqua etc.
• Experience in digital asset management
• Exposure to Content Management Systems such as WordPress
• Working knowledge of relational databases and query logic
• General understanding of basic statistical math
• Experience using Tableau or Excel to present reporting data
• Experience with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools
