Job Description

LEAD GENERATOR (Permanent) Our client, a large international distribution company with US headquarters in the Buffalo area, is looking to hire Lead Generators to join their growing team. These are newly created positions with potential for growth where an outgoing, personable individual would thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily responsibilities generating new leads for potential customers in order to drive business and the success of the organization
  • Conduct research into companies by reviewing profiles and compare against database to ensure they are not current/prior customers
  • Make outbound calls for lead generation as well as follow up to potential customers
  • Effectively communicate with prospective customers all necessary information regarding the company, products, and services available
  • Gather pertinent information to create new customer profiles and make notations in ERP system
  • Ensure all information is up to date and accurate
  • Forward leads to Sales team, qualifying them based on their interest
  • Conduct follow-up calls with leads to secure new business
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure the initial phase of the sales process is successful
  • Other duties as assigned/as necessary

Details:

  • Position is full-time, direct hire
  • Position is hybrid after the initial training period (first couple months are 100% in-office)
  • Two shifts: 8:30am-5:00pm EST to support East Coast, 10:00am-7:00pm EST to support West Coast
  • $22.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Experience making outbound calls  
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organization skills and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Relocation not available
