Machinist / Welder 

We’re seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Welder/Machinist. No prior experience is required, just a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a passion for working with your hands. This is a great opportunity to start a career in metalworking and gain valuable skills in both welding and machining.

LOCATION: Elkridge, MD 21075
POSITION: Contract
PAY RATE: $22.00hr

• Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident status 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist in basic welding tasks including MIG and TIG welding under supervision
• Operate and maintain basic machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other tools
• Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding or machining
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Support senior welders and machinists with daily tasks and projects

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• No prior welding or machining experience required
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong attention to detail and safety
