The ideal candidate for this MCS Associate, Quality Control role will hold a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related discipline, and bring hands-on exposure to aseptic techniques and microbiology practices, whether through academic research, internships, or industry settings. This is an onsite position requiring flexibility to occasionally work weekends or overtime, so strong motivation, teamwork, and a local presence are essential. While the role is entry-level with some training provided, candidates with a background in aseptic handling and microbiology will stand out as top prospects.

Under general supervision, the QC Associate will perform routine procedures and testing in support
of the QC Microbiology Lab. This position will be responsible for the following activities:

- Performing routine Microbiology laboratory procedures including Bioburden/Total Aerobic
- Microbial Count, Biological Indicator testing, Growth Promotion testing of Microbiology media, Container Closure Integrity and Media Fill inspection
- Documenting, computing, compiling, interpreting, and entering data in Laboratory Information Management Systems
- Maintaining and operating specialized equipment
- Must learn and comply with safety guidelines and cGMPs/CFRs which includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance of training records, laboratory documentation, written procedures, building monitoring systems and laboratory logbooks.

compliance
• Demonstrates understanding of when and how to appropriately escalate.
• May identify, recommend and implement improvements related to routine job functions
