Position Title: Medical Assistant (MA)
Location: Flushing, NY
Job Type: 13-week Contract
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes a 45-minute break) | Monday–Friday
Hours per Week: 32 hours
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Medical Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in Flushing , NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical and administrative support to physicians and nursing staff.
Prepare patients for examination and assist during medical procedures.
Record patient vital signs, medical histories, and update electronic health records.
Manage patient flow, scheduling, and coordination of care within the clinic.
Maintain examination rooms, medical supplies, and ensure infection control standards are met.
Travel to other Queens Medical Group locations as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED (required).
Certification: Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program (required).
License: BLS certification (required).
Experience: One or more years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in an Internal Medicine or Multispecialty setting (preferred).
