Job Title: Medical Assistant (MA)
Location: Marion, IL
Pay Rate: $20 to $24 per hour
Duration: 7 weeks (Contract)
Job Duties:
Perform both front and back-office responsibilities, including patient intake, documentation, and clinical support.
Conduct venipuncture and capillary blood draws following proper phlebotomy protocols.
Administer and record electrocardiograms (EKGs) accurately for physician evaluation.
Perform point-of-care (POC) testing such as glucose checks, urinalysis, and strep tests.
Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and procedures efficiently using scheduling systems.
Room patients, take medical histories, and prepare them for provider examinations.
Accurately measure and record patient vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight.
Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification to provide immediate care in emergency situations.
