Medical Technologist – Days
Location: Panama City, FL
Schedule: Full-time | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Rotating Weekends
Salary Range:
1–2 years: $28.65–$29.89/hr
5–6 years: $31.12–$32.36/hr
10+ years: $33.59–$36.95/hr
Night Shift Differential: $3.00/hr
Evening Shift Differential: $2.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Relocation Assistance: Case by case
Responsibilities:
Conduct laboratory tests in areas including Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, Serology, and Microbiology
Perform complex analysis using microscopic, immunologic, and chemical testing
Document and resolve instrumentation problems; conduct equipment troubleshooting and repair
Ensure proper quality control measures are followed and documented accurately
Train new hires or students and participate in specimen collection and processing
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist registry required
Florida Generalist License or eligibility at time of hire
ASCP or equivalent certification preferred
Open to candidates with any level of experience, including new grads with strong lab fundamentals
