About Us: Caring Transitions / Karing Hent Moves is a local business that assists individuals aged 55 and older with downsizing, relocation, home cleanouts, and online auctions of their personal belongings. We understand that this can be a stressful time in our clients' lives, and we are here to provide compassionate and professional services to help make the transition smoother.

Position: Mover/Team Member

Job Description: As an Experienced Mover, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and efficient moving services to our clients. You'll be responsible for the careful handling, skillful wrapping and unwrapping, loading, unloading, and transportation of their belongings, working collaboratively to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience.
Based in Coon Rapids, MN, Caring Transitions and Karing Heart Moves offer comprehensive transition services, and your expertise will be essential in the moving aspect of our client support.

Responsibilities:

• Physically move home furniture and tangible personal property
• Skillfully wrap and unwrap household items for safe transport.
• Efficiently load and unload belongings onto and off of moving trucks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Pack, unpack, and organize boxes
• Communicate positively with clients, peers, and Managers
• Provide exceptional customer service while safely moving, packing/unpacking, and staging/resettling client household items
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a mover.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Professional attitude and demeanor
• Experience in general labor or warehouse work is helpful
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to follow instructions and directions
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Enjoys organizing, sorting, and working in a team-oriented environment

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

• Frequent walking and/or standing, bending, and stooping
• Stamina to lift items (up to 50 lbs) frequently as needed
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 80 lbs (if necessary) from time to time
• Ability to work in various environments related to weather and client houses

Compensation:

• With experience, will start at $21 to "Open"  per hour based on experience.
• Accrued PTO
