Job Description:
This position will work on a high-profile web application project at the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin. The project will rewrite and modernize a legacy Web Form applications to a web application using Visual Studio, ASP.NET MVC with C# and JavaScript, Telerik Kendo, CSS, HTML and SQL Server.
• The application will require experience creating and editing stored procedures as well as other database objects like tables, views, and functions.
• The application will interface with other existing systems including an authentication and authorization application and will utilize data from multiple databases and applications.
• The person in this position will work closely with the team in designing and developing the front end and server side of the web application.
• Project duties include requirements analysis, design, front-end and back-end web application development, testing, participation in interactive code reviews, and development using Visual Studio, ASP.NET MVC with C# and JavaScript, Telerik Kendo, CSS, HTML and SQL Server databases.
• Expectations for this position are development of quality code, participation in active code reviews, sharing expertise, respectful communication, transparency, and technical documentation.

• Application development expertise using .NET MVC Core with C# and JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. (5 years)
• Application development experience with Visual Studio including .NET application and web application design patterns. (5 years)
• Experience with SQL Server and Client tools, including creating/updating database tables, views, stored procedures, and functions. (5 years)
• Experience performing unit and smoke tests (5 years)

• Experience with Telerik Kendo (or similar), Bootstap, Entity Framework Core. (3 years)
