Job Description

This role is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse responsible for providing skilled nursing care in an operating room setting. The RN will perform a variety of tasks related to patient care, surgical procedures, and maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment. A minimum of two years of experience in this specialty is required.

Responsibilities:

- Providing skilled nursing care to patients during surgical procedures.
- Preparing patients for surgery and assisting surgeons as needed.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and administering medications as ordered.
- Maintaining a sterile operating room environment and adhering to infection control protocols.
- Documenting patient care accurately and completely.
- Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Managing surgical supplies and equipment.
- Assisting with post-operative care as needed.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Clinical Assessment skills.

- Treatment Planning skills.
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

- 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM shift, 13-week assignment.
- Located in a surgical center, specifically an Operating Room environment.
