This position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse responsible for providing skilled nursing care during surgical procedures. The role requires participation in all phases of surgical care, including circulating, and adherence to strict protocols and safety standards. The candidate must possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:
- Circulating during surgical procedures.
- Providing skilled nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Preparing surgical rooms and equipment.
- Assisting the surgical team with procedures.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and condition.
- Administering medications as ordered.
- Documenting patient care accurately and completely.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Collaborating effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster (declinations not accepted).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse preferred.
- Ability to circulate in the operating room.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- More than 2 years of OR experience.
Special Considerations:
- Rotating shifts are required, including every other weekend and holidays.
- On-call responsibilities are included.
- Candidates who have worked permanently or as a traveler for any Beth Israel facility within the past 6 months are not eligible.
- A completed Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) cover sheet is required.
Scheduling:
- Rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holidays.
