We are seeking a diligent Security Guard to join our team at a large senior living community in Helena Pointe Come join a team of dedicated, smart, and caring professionals as they work together to care for our seniors and provide them the lifestyle they deserve.

Job Description
Our Maintenance Director oversees keeping our residents living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detailed oriented and friendly.
Responsibilities
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and develop reports for use by leadership
- Report in detail (verbally and in written form) any suspicious incidents
- Patrol building and perimeter randomly and regularly
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
- Contribute to maintenance tasks like painting, sweeping, moping, and light cleaning work. Aide in room flips.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form and cooperate effectively with others
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills with orientation to detail
- Integrity and professionalism
