Description Robert Half is looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our client in Orange County, California. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic legal environment. The role operates on a hybrid schedule, blending on-site and remote work flexibility. Responsibilities: - Manage discovery processes, including gathering, organizing, and reviewing legal documents. - Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents to support attorneys in case preparation. - Assist with trial preparation, including compiling evidence, preparing exhibits, and coordinating logistics. - Utilize case management software to track case progress and deadlines. - Maintain and organize legal calendars to ensure all deadlines are met. - Handle claim administration tasks and communicate effectively with clients and legal teams. - Conduct legal research and summarize findings to assist in case development. - Perform billing functions and ensure accurate records are maintained. - Support attorneys with administrative tasks, including briefing and managing correspondence. Requirements - Proven experience as a paralegal, particularly in discovery, motion drafting, and trial preparation. - Proficiency with legal software such as Aderant, CompuLaw, and case management systems. - Strong skills in Adobe Acrobat and other document management tools. - Excellent organizational and calendar management abilities. - Knowledge of billing functions and claim administration processes.
