The Penetration Testing Analyst role involves conducting security assessments to identify vulnerabilities in systems and applications. This position requires strong knowledge of cybersecurity standards and penetration testing methodologies. The analyst will work onsite in Regina, SK for a 2-year contract with a possible 1-year extension.
Location:Saskatchewan, Canada
Responsibilities:
- Conduct penetration testing on systems and applications.
- Identify and document security vulnerabilities.
- Provide recommendations for remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Stay up-to-date on current cybersecurity threats and trends.
- Apply cybersecurity standards to testing procedures.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Demonstrated experience working as a Penetration Tester.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards including the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Application Security Testing Standard.
- Experience with cloud security and cloud-based application architecture and different deployment models.
- Proficiency with Penetration Testing Tools.
- Knowledge of ISO 27002:2022, or equivalent.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
