Job Description
The 503A Pharmacy Shipping Technician is an entry-level role within the Shipping and Receiving Department, responsible for supporting the accurate and timely shipment and receipt of products. Reporting to the Pharmacist in Charge and Pharmacist on Duty, this position focuses on performing basic shipping tasks, including packaging orders, receiving deliveries, and managing inventory.
The Associate ensures adherence to established procedures, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and contributes to a smooth and efficient operation while upholding FarmaKeio’s Core Values and Operational Guidelines.

Responsibilities:
Shipping and Receiving Operations
• Package and ship orders accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to established procedures.
• Receive and inspect inbound deliveries, ensuring proper documentation and inventory management.
• Assist with the management of shipping inventory to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
Workspace Maintenance and Organization • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area to support efficient operations.
• Ensure adherence to facility protocols for safety and cleanliness in the Shipping and Receiving Department.
Documentation and Record Keeping • Manage and maintain accurate records for all shipments, deliveries, and inventory transactions.
• Ensure documentation complies with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Collaboration and Support • Assist with non-technician responsibilities within the facility as directed by the Pharmacist in Charge.
• Provide suggestions to improve customer service, company systems, and processes.
• Address questions, concerns, and suggestions promptly and positively.

Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills to ensure accurate documentation, inventory management, and timely shipment of compounded medications.
• Exceptional multitasking abilities with strong time management and problem-solving skills to address potential roadblocks and ensure smooth operations.
• Excellent customer service orientation, with the ability to think creatively and maintain high service standards while supporting fiscal responsibility.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the Shipping and Receiving Department, ensuring seamless operations in a pharmacy setting.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with pharmacists, cross-functional teams, and external vendors.
• Skilled in maintaining accurate and precise shipping, receiving, and inventory records to uphold compliance with pharmacy regulations and internal protocols.
• Proficient in using shipping, inventory, and pharmacy-related software systems to streamline workflows and ensure accuracy.
• Demonstrates a team-oriented attitude, working well with peers, supervisors, and subordinates to contribute to a positive and collaborative company culture.
