Physician Assistant (#2351)

Location: Bronx, NY
Employment Type: Full-time
Hourly Rate: $130,000 - $150,000 annually

Position Overview:

Seeking a Physician Assistant to provide personalized medical care through house calls in Bronx, NY. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver healthcare directly to patients' homes with the support of a personal driver. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Licensure: Active New York State PA License (Required).
  • Certification: Board Certified as a Physician Assistant (Required).
  • Experience: Open to new graduates; experience in primary care, geriatrics, or home health is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and routine medical procedures.
  • Soft Skills: Compassion, strong communication, empathy, independence, and adaptability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients’ health and their demands and aim to fulfill them as well as possible.
  • Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medicine.
  • Inform physicians about any problems or discrepancies that might arise.
  • Acquire and review patient histories, identifying abnormal conditions.
  • Monitor patients’ progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries, or other medical events.
  • Attend to emergencies.
  • Provide help during surgeries.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and conduct routine procedures (measure blood pressure and temperature, administer injections, etc).
  • Provide therapeutic treatments (disinfecting wounds, stitching, etc.)
  • Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients.
  • Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members of various specializations.
