Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including Abington Memorial Hospital, dialysis units and office hours. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients, ensuring the highest standards of medical practice.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret laboratory results.
Administer medications, including IV infusions, and provide patient education on treatment protocols.
Assist in clinical trials by recruiting participants and monitoring their progress.
Provide care for patients in senior care settings, ensuring their unique health needs are met.
Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner and Epic for documentation and patient management.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Experience

A minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred, willing to train the right candidate.
Familiarity with clinical trials is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of research protocols.
Experience working with senior populations or in geriatric care is advantageous.
Knowledge of electronic health record systems like Cerner and Epic is highly desirable.
Experience with dialysis procedures is beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
