Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including Abington Memorial Hospital, dialysis units and office hours. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients, ensuring the highest standards of medical practice.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret laboratory results.
  • Administer medications, including IV infusions, and provide patient education on treatment protocols.
  • Assist in clinical trials by recruiting participants and monitoring their progress.
  • Provide care for patients in senior care settings, ensuring their unique health needs are met.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner and Epic for documentation and patient management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Experience

  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred, willing to train the right candidate.
  • Familiarity with clinical trials is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of research protocols.
  • Experience working with senior populations or in geriatric care is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of electronic health record systems like Cerner and Epic is highly desirable.
  • Experience with dialysis procedures is beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
