We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Piping Designer to join our consulting engineering team. This role involves designing and drafting piping systems, including utilities, chemical, steam, condensate, cooling water, compressed air, and process gas lines for industrial facilities such as automotive, chemical, food and beverage, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience with 3D modeling software and a strong understanding of piping codes, materials, and layout principles.
ResponsibilitiesTypical engineering office with cubicles and offices. The dress code is business casual to casual, allowing jeans and a polo, but not tennis shoes and tee shirts. Working hours are flexible, starting between 7-8 AM and ending between 3:30-5 PM, with a typical 40-hour work week.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $43.00/hr.
