Position Overview The Field Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day field operations of commercial plumbing projects. This role is responsible for supervising crews, coordinating with project managers, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Primary Responsibilities - Supervise commercial plumbers on active job sites
- Serve as the key liaison between field teams and project managers
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, specifications, and safety standards
- Provide hands-on support and training for plumbing technicians
- Monitor job progress and report daily updates to leadership
- Conduct regular quality control inspections and resolve job site issues
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors as needed
- Maintain accurate records of field activities and workforce hours
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall project and company success
Qualifications - Minimum 7 years of plumbing experience, with at least 2 in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and best practices
- Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Travel Requirements This position requires occasional regional travel to project sites within Florida.
A company vehicle and gas card are provided for all business-related travel.
Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
Overnight travel is rare but may be necessary for certain projects.
