Position Description
CGI is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join its dynamic team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that transform data into actionable insights. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts.

This position is located onsite in our Onshore Delivery Center in Lafayette, LA.
Your future duties and responsibilities
How you'll make an impact
You Will
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) and ensure data integrity.
Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability.
Implement row-level security and data governance best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
Provide support and training to end-users on Power BI tools and reports.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
What you'll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Power BI development.
Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Desired Qualifications/non-essential Skills Required
Experience with Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.).
Knowledge of other BI tools (Tableau, QlikView).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $55,700.00 - $97,500.00.
