Job Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant ( PTA) to provide quality care based on each individuals needs with a Clinical Team approach.

We prescribe TherEx and use modalities to assist in reaching realistic goals with the patient. We have Rehab Techs that assist us in supervising, teaching and administering exercise prescribed by the DPT & PTA so that it is performed in a safe & optimal manner.

This role fits well with a PTA who is interested in working in a dynamic Outpatient Orthopedic & Vestibular Rehab outpatient clinic.

Other Qualifications:

• Interest in Sports and Orthopedic Rehab.
• Desire to help Geriatrics achieve measurable and functional goals.
• Return athletes back to sport stronger and more confident.
• Ability to work as a team
• Comfortable taking the lead when needed and also working taking feedback when needed.
• Must have a team player approach and take initiative.
• Must be punctual, responsible, organized, reliable and creative.
• Desire to learn and grow with a team of clinicians.
• Licensed in the State of NY or willing to sign a Temporary Permit for an exceptional candidate.
• Must present 2 verifiable professional reference. If a new grad a professor letter or recommendation.
• Paid Continuing Ed courses though HSS Cont Ed portal.
• Paid Licensing annual fee.
• Paid Annual Professional Liability insurance.
• PTO prorated after 3rd month of hire.
