Job Description

Location : Seattle, Washington

Salary/Pay Rate : $80,000 to $156,000 annually. A $10,000 Sign-On Bonus is available for eligible candidates, and relocation assistance may be offered for the ideal candidate.

Schedule : Night Shift (12-Hour Shifts), Full Time

Unit/Specialty : Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Level IV

Job Description :

As a Level IV NICU Registered Nurse, you are entrusted with the most fragile of patients. Your day-to-day will involve applying the full nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, and deliver specialized care to critically ill newborns. You will develop and meticulously update patient care plans to optimize outcomes, monitor complex conditions, and serve as a vital advocate for your patients and their families. This role requires you to be a leader within the interdisciplinary team, coordinating care, fostering a learning environment, and upholding the highest standards of safety and quality by integrating evidence-based best practices into your daily work.

Required Skills :

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and valid Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of direct experience as a Registered Nurse in a NICU setting.

Preferred Skills :

  • At least one full year of recent experience as a full-time RN in a high-acuity, Level IV NICU.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills tailored to the neonatal population.
  • Strong collaborative spirit and communication skills to effectively partner with families and the healthcare team.
