Position Overview

To work as an assistant to the dining room servers and to clear and set up tables for guests.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for setting up the work station.
• Busses and resets tables in dining room and bar.
• Serves water to guests.
• Assists dining room servers by clearing dirty dishes and pouring beverages to guests.
• Folds napkins and rolls silverware.
• Takes dirty dishes back to dish department.
• Checks, cleans, and stocks restrooms during shift.
• Empties trash cans as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Other:

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meeting is required.

Upon employment, all employees are required to full comply with Regency Hotel Management rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel's facilities. Employees who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Qualifications:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills and abilities.

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Past full service restaurant experience preferred.

• Must be able to understand the primary languages used in the workplace.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and guests.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Must be able to act independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be able to stand and walk for several hours at a time.
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
