Job Description



As a new graduate Software Engineer at RRS Group, you will be assigned to one of our technology organizations based on your skill set, interests, and organizational needs. Your application will be considered across multiple locations.

The role of Software Engineer demands a high level of professionalism and technical expertise. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing optimized, secure, and scalable code that adheres to industry best practices, including comprehensive unit testing and rigorous peer reviews.
  2. Devising innovative solutions to complex problems that align with both product and technology roadmaps, demonstrating a strategic approach to software development.
  3. Actively contributing to and leading the development of end-to-end technology solutions that address critical business needs.
  4. Maintaining a commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in the field of software engineering.
  5. Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components and timely project delivery.
  6. Conducting thorough code reviews and providing constructive feedback to maintain high code quality standards across the organization.
  7. Participating in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
  8. Demonstrating a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact project timelines or system performance.

Qualifications

  • Less than 2 years relevant work experience with either Bachelor's or Master's degree 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, Business or a related field, graduating January 2025 - August 2025. 
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology including, but not limited, to Java, C/C++, C#, .NET, python, Javascript, HTML 
  • Experience with Write utilities / automation tools using Selenium, Java, REST, Python, Groovy, and more 
  • Familiarity with software testing principles 
  • Solid understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies 
  • Document process, designs, test results, and analysis 
  • Lead root cause analysis and track defect resolution to completion 
  • Review and provide feedback on development code, test designs and test cases 
  • Communicate status frequently to project stakeholders 
  • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment. 
  • The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on 
  • Strong ability to collaborate 
  • Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented 
  • Good team player and excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY:   The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $80,000 – $104,000 per year plus bonus. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the

qualifications

necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer a competitive benefits package, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, Company-matching 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, and Tuition Reimbursement, in addition to other programs and perks.
