Job Title: Software Test Engineer Job Description We're looking for a detail-oriented and mission-driven Software Verification Engineer to ensure the safety and effectiveness of our life-saving Class III medical devices. What You'll Do + Design, document, and maintain robust software verification procedures. + Analyze software requirements and develop corresponding test protocols. + Execute manual verification tests on complex medical systems. + Plan and estimate verification activities for software projects. + Maintain traceability between requirements and test protocols. + Support software integration with hardware and software subsystems. + Report on testing progress and performance metrics. + Develop or specify tools and fixtures to support testing activities. + Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure high-quality outcomes. What You Bring + 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing. + Proficiency in bug tracking and software testing tools. + Familiarity with Jira and structured development environments. + Understanding of IEC standards and design controls. + Background in medical device development. Bonus Points For + Experience with Scrum methodology. + Familiarity with Perforce Helix ALM. + Knowledge of ventilator systems. Work Environment You'll work closely with a team of dedicated software testers in a collaborative, high-stakes environment focused on Class III medical devices. While this is an individual contributor role, teamwork and communication are key to success. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
