Staff Accountant

Duties:

Responsible for full cycle general ledger accounting to include preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Maintain account sub-ledgers
Assist in internal/external financial reporting and audits
Ensure compliance with GAAP by researching accounting positions and researching and correcting account discrepancies
Answer inquiries from and collaborate with finance, operations, contracts, and engineering

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required with accounting internship experience
CPA eligible and actively pushing through the process
2 years of full cycle general ledger accounting and 1 year of public accounting experience preferred; upstream or midstream experience highly preferred
Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Power BI and Alteryx a PLUS
Must be open to evolve and pivot; eager, driven, and collaborative
Organized with strong planning and time management skills; fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly changing and growing environment; proactive, problem-solver, and analytical
Strong communication skills, detailed and accurate, and consistently produce strong work
