About the Role:
The Insmed Summer Internship Program gives students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment in the pharmaceutical industry, receive mentoring from highly skilled professionals, and work on dynamic team projects. Our 2026 Summer Intern program is a full-time (40 hours per week), paid internship. The internship may present opportunities for rotational assignments within the function, and the intern will be assigned goals and objectives that will support the strategic business plan of the company.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to navigate the world of corporate and healthcare compliance in the fast paced, highly-regulated pharmaceutical industry. Consistent with Insmed's innovative corporate environment, you will gain extensive hands-on experience through support, collaboration, and leadership of diverse projects. This role is grounded in a phased approach to ensure (1) education, (2) exposure, and (3) experience. You'll also:
  • Build and further your knowledge of relevant compliance requirements for the pharmaceutical industry, including but not limited to: OIG 7 Elements of an Effective Compliance Program, DOJ Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs, PhRMA Code on Interactions with HCPs, and applicable laws (Anti-Kickback, False Claims, FCPA, Physician Payment Sunshine Act, etc.)
  • Present a capstone project to demonstrate understanding of risk, strategic thinking, business alignment, and communication skills
  • Support special projects across the Global Compliance department, including developing compliance trainings, policies/SOPs, and other projects as assigned
  • Interact with Insmed stakeholders across departments and geographies (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Patient Support, EMEA, Japan, etc.)
  • Create foundational experience as a good corporate citizen through the guidance of corporate values and strong ethical standards
Who You Are:

You are a current student working on Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree (JD, JD dual degree, or PhD) with an interest in compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.

You are or you have:
  • Strong willingness to learn; eager to expand your knowledge and gain new skills
  • Must successfully exhibit Insmed's five (5) corporate values: collaboration, accountability, passion, integrity, & respect
  • Must have effective communication skills (verbal and written) and be highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness
