Position Information

• Job Title: Video Content Creator
• Job Status: Full Time 
• Location: 100% onsite in Canton, OH
• Compensation: Hourly (Non-Exempt) 
• Position Type: Direct Hire, note, this is not a contract role
• Pay Range: $21.00–$26.00/hour, based on experience and skill set
• Shift: Standard hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday, with flexibility based on events and customer scheduling needs.

We're looking for a creative, witty, and charismatic individual within driving distance of Canton, OH, who thrives on camera and loves engaging with an audience. In this role, you’ll be the face of our video content—pitching and scripting original, funny, and entertaining ideas, then bringing them to life on screen. We're looking for a natural storyteller and self-starter who brings bold vision, infectious energy, and relentless follow-through; someone who doesn’t wait for direction but dives in and brings ideas to life. When you’re not filming, you’ll handle the logistics that make great content possible: reaching out to potential interviewees, mapping filming routes, and coordinating video opportunities at events, festivals, and other large gatherings.

What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Be on camera performing a variety of scripted and improvised scenes—many of which you’ll help brainstorm and write
• Bring energy, creativity, and charisma to every video to make it interesting, funny, entertaining—or ideally, all three
• Think quickly on your feet and respond with wit, spontaneity, and authenticity
• Use strong instincts and curiosity to identify what’s entertaining or engaging in any given situation
• Collaborate with the team to shape scenes that resonate with viewers and leave a lasting impression
• Conduct on-camera interviews with our valued customers to authentically capture their stories and experiences.
• Utilize your influencer experience to establish genuine connections with interviewees, ensuring they feel comfortable and their stories are shared with authenticity.
• Creating compelling, trend-savvy content that connects with audiences across platforms—from social media to traditional advertising.

Requirements

What You’ll Need: 

• Experience developing content specifically for social media platforms, with a solid understanding of what resonates across different channels
• Confident on-camera presence with experience in acting, theater, comedy, or improv, including both scripted and improvised performances
• Strong storytelling skills that bring authenticity, humor, and relatability to video content
• Ability to brainstorm, write, and perform engaging content aligned with the brand’s voice and messaging
• Quick-thinking, witty, and adaptable—able to identify and deliver what’s interesting, funny, or compelling in any given moment
• Comfortable conducting on-camera interviews, testimonials, and live sessions, with a natural ability to connect with customers and bring out their stories
• Awareness of current social media trends, platforms, and best practices to keep content fresh, relevant, and engaging
• Proven ability to devise and support social media strategies that boost brand awareness, engagement, and growth
• Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, creative teams, influencers, and internal stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a creative mindset and ability to generate innovative, on-brand content ideas
• Valid and active driver’s license
• Ability to be in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods (2+ hours)
• Ability to frequently move Audio/Visual equipment weighing up to 25 pounds to various filming locations
• Ability to regularly move about inside and outside the office, including customer and event locations, both indoors and outdoors

Location & Commitments:

This full-time role requires a weekly, minimum commitment of 40 hours and is based at our Canton, OH office. Working hours are typically from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday, though they may vary based on events and customer schedules. 

This position is open to all candidates who legally reside and are eligible to work in the United States and are available to work onsite in our Canton, OH office.
