Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting daily accounting operations. Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and provides timely financial reporting to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages A/R and A/P processes
• Assists in the production of weekly reporting
• Lends financial perspective to business issues facing district operation, including cost-benefit analysis
• Manages period close, ensure general ledger is accurately represented, and complete balance sheet reconciliations
• Assists in analyzing financial statements for areas of profit improvement, recommend action
• Assists with forecast and budget modeling, evaluate what-if scenario
• Record and categorize financial transactions in accounting software
• Manages cash room and coordinates banking/armored car services
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections
• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings
• Maintain accurate documentation and support audit preparation
• Monitor budgets, track expenses, and assist with financial forecasting

Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience required.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
