Job Description

This is a work from home flexible position with the ability to travel to the local Go Ape site as well as attend events and execute local marketing duties. This position also provides flexible working hours.

Go Ape is seeking a dynamic and motivated brand representative for its Eagle Creek location! This individual will be responsible for increasing bookings and revenue by attending local marketing events; researching local trends, events, and partners; contacting and coordinating with media outlets, vendors, and other third-party promoters; distributing course brochures; and executing all job duties with a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the marketing department and site manager to research, coordinate, and attend local marketing events to increase guest visitation.
  • Set up and tear down event equipment such as tents, tables, displays, and other items according to marketing specifications.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of activities the local site offers to effectively “sell” the course at events or at site.
  • Represent the Go Ape brand and culture by keeping Guest WOW at the forefront of all interactions.
  • Distribute brochures to local businesses to help create awareness within the region.
  • Restock promotional materials and brochures at current businesses carrying Go Ape literature, ensuring marketing materials are regularly available to potential guests.
  • Find new businesses and individuals to partner with as to increase exposure in the community and drive participation.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with businesses that conduct co-branded events and marketing opportunities with Go Ape.
  • Execute local market research to identify possible partners, groups, and sales leads.
  • Submit regular reports to the site manager, marketing liaison and/or sales representative, sharing updates on the execution of assigned projects.
  • Attend biweekly check-in meetings with the Marketing Coordinator to review progress, alignment of strategies, and discuss upcoming initiatives and deliverables.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Experience

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Prior experience in a marketing or sales role is preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience with marketing to the local community is highly desired.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • At least 18 years or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to meet guest participation requirements to access course activities

Pay Rate: Starting at $13 - $18 per hour

Hours: Flexible, some weekends and evenings required

Status: Variable Hour Part-time
