Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled Credentialing Specialist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a long-term contract position within the healthcare industry, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic and impactful environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credentialing processes and compliance, with experience using industry-standard tools and systems. Responsibilities: - Manage hospital credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. - Maintain and update credentialing databases, including CAQH profiles and other relevant systems. - Conduct thorough audits to verify provider information and ensure accuracy in documentation. - Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance issues and resolve credentialing discrepancies. - Utilize EHR systems to track and maintain credentialing records efficiently. - Prepare and submit required documentation for provider enrollment with insurance carriers. - Ensure adherence to ICD-10 codes and other healthcare regulations during the credentialing process. - Use tools like Adobe Acrobat and CRM systems to streamline credentialing workflows. - Design and review credentialing-related reports to support operational decision-making. - Stay informed about industry trends and changes in compliance requirements. Requirements - Proven experience in credentialing within the healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of compliance standards. - Proficiency in using credentialing systems such as CAQH and EHR platforms. - Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and CRM tools for document management and tracking. - Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and its application in credentialing processes. - Strong auditing skills to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate effectively with teams. - Understanding of healthcare industry standards and policies related to credentialing.
