A well-established, quality-focused dental laboratory in Huntsville, Alabama is hiring a full-time Dental Lab Technician to join its removable prosthetics team. This position is ideal for experienced denture technicians or hands-on professionals with strong manual skills from fields like jewelry, artistry, carpentry, hairdressing, or mechanics .

You’ll help create life-changing dental restorations in a stable, team-oriented lab environment that values precision, craftsmanship, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrange teeth in wax for full and partial dentures with precision and aesthetic detail.
• Interpret dental prescriptions, design specifications, and wax-up instructions.
• Construct and refine wax models to ensure functional, comfortable prosthetics.
• Modify tooth shape, size, and placement to replicate natural dentition.
• Assist with curing, polishing, and quality checking of final restorations.
• Maintain production timelines while following lab protocols and quality standards.
• Collaborate with technicians and lab staff in a supportive team environment.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in denture setup or 1+ year of hands-on experience in a field requiring strong manual dexterity (e.g., jeweler, artist, carpenter, mechanic).
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, handle small tools, and work with precision.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with dental lab tools and removable prosthetic workflows.
• CDT certification or interest in pursuing certification (lab-sponsored pathway available).
• Experience reading lab slips and working in a production-based dental lab setting.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $30 to $40 per hour , depending on experience.
