Driver/Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Driver/Maintenance Technician to join our team. This dynamic role combines the responsibilities of both a professional driver and a skilled maintenance technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and quality service.
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and team members, residents to various job sites, appointments and locations as needed.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure all vehicles are in optimal working condition.
- Conduct regular maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and machinery to ensure effective operation and prevent downtime.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and coordinate with external vendors for repairs when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, vehicle logs, and fuel usage.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute efficient routes and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation and safety regulations.
- Support general facility maintenance tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver and/or maintenance technician.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
