Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Master the assembly process and requirements for all instruments in the production area.
  • Assemble multiple product lines, integrating sub-assemblies into instruments.
  • Maintain device history records and conduct basic component testing.
  • Identify defects and recommend design/process improvements.
  • Provide training to associates and execute basic test instructions.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair work, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments including Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company policies.
  • Perform standard material handling functions and follow housekeeping and safety procedures.
  • Be willing to work overtime as needed and perform other duties as required.

Experience Required

  • High school degree or GED with 4 years of manufacturing experience, or an AA technical degree with 1 year of experience.
  • Experience in a regulated environment is required.

Skills & Certifications

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop associates.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in mechanical tools and reading technical drawings.
  • Effective time management and ability to work in a team setting.
  • Proficiency in English, basic computer skills, and ability to work in a repetitive environment.

Eligibilities & qualifications
