Irrigation & Landscape Lighting Field Director

The Parterre Irrigation & Lighting Field Director is responsible for leading and coordinating all field-based operations within the division. The primary responsibilities of the Field Director include maintaining consistent communication and training across the team; collaborating with the Operations Division to schedule and coordinate seasonal work activities; regularly reviewing projects to ensure performance aligns with expectations; ensuring the highest quality standards are consistently delivered to clients; and overseeing accurate and timely accounting and administrative processes. This role requires a self-directed individual comfortable balancing responsibility in both office and field settings.

Your Role: 

• Lead a team of Field Managers, Crew Leads, and Field Technicians to plan, implement, and maintain existing properties and projects. 
• Continuously refine and organize field operations to ensure efficiency, high quality, and innovation in all work performed. 
• Oversee logistics for staff production meetings, scheduling & time approval, perform recons of completed projects, and ensure timely invoices. 
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, education, and development of new staff. 
• Develop and maintain training programs for existing staff. 
• Uphold staff performance standards both on the job site and in communication with clients.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated client concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution. 

What We're Looking For: 

• 5-8+ years of relevant work experience, including at least two years in supervisory positions with demonstrated capacity to lead and inspire staff. 
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage diverse teams in a dynamic work environment. 
• Demonstrated relationship-building, team management, and planning skills. 
• Knowledge of irrigation and lighting systems , with experience in design, installation, and maintenance techniques tailored to diverse landscape and horticultural environments. 
• Experience estimating, developing and presenting proposals, and maintaining budgets. 
• Proficiency in using software and tools for project management, scheduling, and budget tracking. 
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

The role offers the opportunity to work across diverse locations, including greater Boston, Cape Cod, New Hampshire, and southern Maine, with a home base at our North Billerica office.
